Travis Rutz Injured

London, Ontario (October 7, 2009)

After making the long trip to Ohsweken from Langley, BC to compete in the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals, twenty-one year old Travis Rutz and his team were racing their way back home.

They had stopped at Eldora Speedway to race with the World of Outlaws on Friday, September 25, and then visited the Terre Haute Action Track with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Sunday, September 27. Unfortunately that is where their trip ended as Travis was involved in a bad accident with eight laps to go in the feature.

Rutz was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he remains in a coma. There has been an outpouring of support from the racing community, but Travis and his family can use your help. Please visit www.TravisRutz.com to see what you can do.
