Wall Stadium Closing

London, Ontario (March 25, 2008) -
It has occurred to me lately that I need to get off my duff and go to some of the tracks on my "must see" list. It seems the list is getting a little bit shorter with each passing year as suburbia slowly swallows up areas where racetracks "live". Wall Stadium in New Jersey is the latest casualty, and while it probably got no attention in the New York Times during more than 55 years of racing there, an article appeared in the Times this morning noting the demise of the speedway.
